Attractions and location

Szklarska Poręba is ideal for those who enjoy active relaxation close to nature - without pressure to keep a set pace or break sports records. Located between the Karkonosze and Izera Mountains, it invites you to move at your own rhythm: gentle hikes, bike trips and winter activities amid mountain scenery.

Cycling enthusiasts will find some of the most exciting routes in the Sudetes here. Popular Szklarska Poręba routes include Single Track Szklarska, Mała Szklarska Pętla and Karkonoski Express Pod Reglami, Po polskich Izerach i czeskich Karkonoszach, plus many others through forest paths, viewpoints and Izera meadows. The region offers both easy recreational routes and more challenging sections.

In winter, nearby Jakuszyce becomes one of Poland’s best cross-country skiing centers, with hundreds of kilometers of trails for beginners and advanced skiers. Downhill enthusiasts can also enjoy Szrenica and Ski Arena Szrenica, plus the slope in Dolina Szczęścia - ideal for beginners.

Szklarska Poręba is also an excellent base for mountain trails - from walks to Kamieńczyk and Szklarka Waterfalls to scenic hikes to Szrenica and Śnieżne Kotły. It is a place to stay active without competitive sport, enjoying movement, fresh air and nature.

The facility complies with the standards for the protection of minors referred to in the Act of 28 July 2023 amending the Act - Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1606).
