Szklarska Poręba is the perfect place for those who enjoy active leisure close to nature—without the pressure of imposed pace and sports records. Located between the Karkonosze and Izerskie Mountains, it encourages movement at your own rhythm: peaceful hikes, bike trips, and winter activities surrounded by mountain landscapes.

Cycling enthusiasts will find some of the most interesting routes in the Sudetes here. The most popular cycling trails of Szklarska Poręba include Single Track Szklarska, Little Szklarska Loop, and Karkonoski Express Pod Reglami, as well as routes through the Polish Izery, Czech Karkonosze, and many others leading through forest paths, viewpoints, and Izery meadows. The region offers both peaceful recreational trails and more challenging sections.

In winter, nearby Jakuszyce transforms into one of the best cross-country skiing centers in Poland with hundreds of kilometers of trails for beginners and more advanced skiers. Downhill skiing fans have at their disposal the slopes of Szrenica and Ski Arena Szrenica, as well as the Glade of Happiness slope—perfect for beginners.

Szklarska Poręba is also an excellent base for mountain trails—from walking paths to Kamieńczyk and Szklarka Waterfalls to scenic hikes to Szrenica or Śnieżne Kotły. It is a place where you can spend active time without practicing competitive sports—enjoying movement, fresh air, and contact with nature.

The facility complies with the standards for the protection of minors referred to in the Act of 28 July 2023 amending the Act - Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1606).
