Szklarska Poręba is an ideal place for those who enjoy active relaxation close to nature – without the pressure of imposed pace and sports records. Located between the Karkonosze and Izera Mountains, it encourages movement at your own rhythm: peaceful hikes, cycling trips, and winter activities surrounded by mountain landscapes.

Cycling enthusiasts will find some of the most interesting bike trails in the Sudetes here. The most popular cycling routes in Szklarska Poręba include Single Track Szklarska, the Small Szklarska Loop, and the Karkonosze Express Pod Reglami, the Polish Izers and Czech Karkonosze, among many other trails leading through forest paths, viewpoints, and Izera meadows. The region offers both calm recreational routes and more demanding sections.

In winter, nearby Jakuszyce transforms into one of the best cross-country skiing centers in Poland, with hundreds of kilometers of trails for beginners and more advanced skiers. Downhill skiing enthusiasts can also enjoy the slopes of Szrenica and Ski Arena Szrenica, as well as the slope in Dolina Szczęścia – perfect for beginners.

Szklarska Poręba is also an excellent base for mountain trails – from walking routes to the Kamieńczyk and Szklarka Waterfalls to scenic hikes to Szrenica or Śnieżne Kotły. It is a place where you can spend time actively without the need for competitive sports – enjoying movement, fresh air, and contact with nature.

The facility only accepts guests aged 16+. The facility complies with the standards for the protection of minors referred to in the Act of 28 July 2023 amending the Act - Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1606). Therefore, upon check-in at the facility, please present the child's ID or other document confirming that the adult has the right to care for the child on the facility's premises (authorization from the child's parents or a court order).
