Śnieżka (1603 m above sea level) is the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains and the Sudetes, and at the same time one of the most recognizable and most frequently visited places in the Polish mountains. Located on the Polish–Czech border, it is a unique viewpoint and a destination for trips at any time of year.
From the summit of Śnieżka there are impressive panoramas of the Karkonosze Mountains, the Jelenia Góra Valley and the Czech part of the Sudetes. In good visibility it is possible to see even distant mountain ranges on both the Czech and Polish sides.
